SHIP Volunteer Interest Meeting

The Alabama State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP), part of United Way’s Area Agency on Aging provides free, unbiased Medicare counseling to Medicare beneficiaries, their families and caregivers. We are seeking volunteers to assist during Medicare Open Enrollment (October 15th to December 7th) as well as year-round.
Volunteers are needed to help with a variety of tasks, including day-to-day administrative duties, counseling of Medicare beneficiaries and education in the community.
Join us for a SHIP Volunteer Interest Meeting on Wednesday, June 26th and meet our new SHIP Coordinator for Jefferson County. You don’t want to miss your chance to learn about the volunteer opportunities available with SHIP.
