OUR IMPACT

The United Way Area Agency on Aging (UWAAA) of Jefferson County is making a real difference in the lives of older citizens and those with disabilities. Through our combination of highly focused programs and services, UWAAA answered more than 38,000 requests for help in 2024, directly assisting nearly 11,000 individuals and positively impacting countless others through senior center programs, hot meals and help with food, Medicare counseling, caregiver support, prescription drug assistance, legal services, advocacy for long-term care residents and more.
